Brad Love joined us to discuss the Symphony Awakening & Sustainable Christmas Bazaar.
Brad is the mastermind behind Symphony Awakening, a rock opera featuring music of the Eggmen, a Beatles experience cover band, and the Djembabes, a local drumming and singing group. The opera tells the story of a the modern worlds introduction to the perspective of an indigenous tribe in South America.
Brandi Clark Burton, our “5th Beatle”, joined us in the studio for a year-end wrap up. We prepared for the great environmental party event on 12-12-12 and had David Cortez from the local Sierra Club on the phone with us. David has started a new initiative on Environmental Justice.
Woody Tasch, Author of “Slow Money”. Woody is Founder and Chairman of Slow Money, a non-profit formed in 2008 to catalyze the flow of investment capital to small food enterprises and to promote new principles of fiduciary responsibility to support sustainable agriculture and the emergence of a restorative economy. We also had Scott Price representing the local Slow Money Austin chapter. The local chapter featured an event called The Sustainable Investment Showcase and Fall Pitchfest at the Barr Mansion.
