Wind Energy

Wind Generators

We continue our energy series this week with WIND. In light of Deepwater Horizon and BP’s big mess in the Gulf, will windfarms get a boost? We talk to documentary producer Robbie Gemmel about the Cape Wind Project, a proposal to build the nation’s first offshore windfarm in Nantucket Sound. Drama has long been boiling over this plan, with the most recent development being an approval stamp from Minerals Management Service.  We talk Texas wind, Cape Wind, and how the BP disaster sheds light on wind energy for America.
